Switch on the water and electric power, after the hydrotherapeutic equipment begins to work normally, the information like the illustration will be displayed on screen of body machine.
Push the ?Warming? and ?Cooling? button to adjust the heating grade, the water temperature will elevate or decrease according to the change of heating grade.
The real time temperature of water coming out from hydrotherapeutic equipment will be displayed on the screen.
When ozone water is needed, push the ?ozone? button, design of continuous ascending air bubble will display on the screen. At this time, the water flowing out is ozone water.

Precaution before use

Important Precautions

1. Be sure to read this operating instruction before the initial use of the instrument.
2. The user should be proved to have no contraindication of the product before using it.
3、 The product should not be put under the environment with a temperature below 0°C, water vapor or high electromagnetic radiation.
4、 The hydrotherapeutic function of the product is only suitable to human body. The application to any biomass for hydrotherapy other than human being is prohibited.


Precautions

1． Switch on the water source before switching on electrical source. Check up if there were any leakage of water on each interface.
2． The instrument should not be used if the water source goes badly or presents a great deal of mud, sand or dirt, and the water pressure is unstable and <0.3Mpa.
3． The instrument should not be used if the problems occur to local electric source such as, the voltage becomes high or low suddenly.
4． This is an electrical appliance and its crust has some waterproof performance. Its circuit is also waterproof. However irrigating or immersing it with water should be avoided to prevent malfunction and risk.
5． If the water temperature is too high or low in use, for example the water feels too hot or cold while the temperature displayed is 30˚C shut the instrument at once. On the same time, invite special maintenance man to repair it.
6． The complete set of heating element, circuit and ozone genitor is all durable and high performance materials in chassis. However, in order to guarantee the safety of the complete machine, the internal accessories should not be taken down or changed optionally to avoid accident or danger because of the fuses with a high susceptibility installed in both jack and chassis for preventing overloading or creepage.
7． Children?s playing with it or pushily tearing down should be avoided.

Precaution before use

Important precautions

1. Be sure that the voltage and frequency of AC power supply connected with hydrotherapeutic instrument complied with the requirement (220V士10%, 50Hz士10%) and has enough current capacity (≥15A).
2. The only method to cut the power supply of hydrotherapeutic instrument completely is taking off the plug of power supply.
3. Be sure that the installing place has no seeper or pouring of water.

Placement of hydrotherapeutic apparatus
You may remove the instrument by fasten its handle. The instrument and its accessories should be placed according following guide:
1. You had better use it in toilet.
2. The surface of the ground or table (1 meter from the ground) where the instrument being placed on should be stable and smooth and will not be poured by water.
3. The interface of power wire should not be nipped between metope and other objects.

Please see following drawing:
1. Connect one end of the inlet pipe with tap (or use manual switch tie-in) tightly and connect the other end of inlet pipe with rear inlet of the instrument.
2. Connect one end of the outlet pipe with hydrotherapeutic nozzle and spin the screw cap of the other end with rear inlet of the instrument.
3. Connect the power wire with jack on the rear of instrument firmly and connect the other end with earthing jack or multiple-holed jack.

How to use

1、 Adjust water temperature and pressure
First, please connect the inlet and outlet pipes of the hydrotherapeutic instrument according to installation figure. Switch on the tap and turn on the power supply. The indicator light should light up at this time. Push the ?Start? button, all of the indicator lights will light up and the Mermaid trademark, the pre-set hydrotherapeutic time and real time water temperature will be displayed. At the same time, source water was infused from tap to the instrument. The hydrotherapeutic time preset is for 40 minutes initially. Now you enter the time setting pattern, the hydrotherapeutic time can be increased or decreased for 5 minutes at each pushing of the ?warming? or ?cooling? button.
When the water flows out of the nozzle, observe the height of water column and adjust the tap to keep the height in 3-8cm;
After setting the time and water column, push ?START? again to enter hydrotherapy pattern. The controller begins to heat the water and control the water temperature. The time counter begins to count down.
After waiting for 2 minutes, the reading become stable and the current outlet water temperature is the one produced through the work of instrument with a default power (Grade 5). According to personal like, adjust the water temperature in the range of 30-35°C, please see fig. S-3 ( water temperature around 35°C is suggested).

**Special notice:
1、 The correct way to know the water temperature is to read the figure after it has been stable for at least 5 second.
2、 Be avoid to change the temperature grade greatly.
3、 2 minutes or more is needed to adjust the water temperature to a suitable level.
4、 The instrument could not work if the temperature of source water exceeded 38˚C.

2. Start hydrotherapy
After adjust the water temperature to a suitable one, put off the lower clothes and pour the water from the nozzle of instrument on the back of hand or body surface to try if the water temperature is suitable. Then sit down, stand or squat before closestool and relax yourself. Hold the bottom of hydrotherapeutic nozzle in hand and put the nozzle on the anus from in front or behind the body. Let the nozzle adhere anus gently and contract sphincter anal gently at the same time to let the filtrated, purified and warmed water flow into colon slowly. Several or several tens of seconds later, remove the nozzle quickly when having a intense desire for egesting. Defecate naturally on closestool. The feeling is similar to diarrhea. After defecating, put the nozzle on anus again and let water flow into colon to cause defecating again. Cleaning the colon completely which is 1.5 meters long needs infusing or draining water repeatedly for more than ten or twenty times and 20-40 minutes. After the completion of hydrotherapy or rinsing, please push ?START? button first to shut body machine, and then shut the tap, disconnect power wire and pipes, at last, wash the nozzle clean and put it with body machine and pipes in a safe place to avoid high temperature, insolation and wet.

3．Hydrotherapeutic postures:
There are several postures such as sitting, standing; squatting and lying can be adopted in hydrotherapy. You can choose according to personal situation.
1． Standing (two kinds)
A. Relax and slightly bend your two legs, spraddle, raise your buttocks backward slightly, put the gravity center of your body on one foot with other foot point floor anterior sole. Also, you can put the gravity center of your body between your two legs. Put the nozzle on anus gently and contract anus slightly. Remove the nozzle until you feel abdominal distension (desiring to defecate in rectum) and defecate.
B. Stand with the two legs tandem, put the nozzle on anus gently and contract anus slightly. Your lower abdomen can be put forward slightly. Even you can go about if affusing well.
2. Sitting posture: This posture can be divided into anterior and posterior hydrotherapies. The former is more suitable for female and the later for male. Pay attention to relax during hydrotherapy. Remove the nozzle once you feel abdominal distension. Avoid distending the colon for a long time purposely to prevent any harm to your body.
3. Lying posture: Detach your two legs and put the nozzle on anus. The operation is the same as above statement. But pay attention that the assistant person and the user should cooperate closely and be sure to remind that the nozzle cannot be inserted into the anus of the user vigorously. Keeping it close to anus is enough. Because of the small gap between the nozzle and anus, a small quantity of water leakage is normal and safe. In addition, the operator also needs to think over the disposition of discharged fecal liquid and feces in advance such as the selection of locus and cleaning method.
4. Squat posture: You can refer to the operation mentioned in the section of sitting or standing posture.

4. Hydrotherapeutic massage:
Infuse water through nozzle with one hand and press your abdomen gently with the other hand through let the hand go around and around widdershins. Perform affusion and drain for about twenty times: affusion and massage on lower abdomen under navel for 1-6 times, affusion and massage on left abdomen on left of navel for the 6-13 times and massage on both parts of abdomen for the 13-20 times. If feel abdomimal pain during hydrotherapy, squat and let the feces discharged, and then start hydrotherapy again. Keep in mind that relaxing is the best state for hydrotherapy.

Precaution during use:
1. Intestinal hydrotherapy with ozone is prohibited.
2. Be sure that the water flow is consecutive and controlling the water flow through shutting off is prohibited.
3. Abdominal pain and distension are normal reactions in hydrotherapy. However the operation must be stopped at once if the ache or distension is beyond endurance.
4. The operation should be stopped at once the water feels too hot or cold while the temperature displayed is in the range of 28-35˚C



1. Keep relaxed during the process of treatment; the more natural and relaxed, the more comfortable.
2. In case of misoperations during treatment (such as obstacles or water flow block), the machine will close down and give alarm automatically. The water flow will be cut off suddenly and resume after a few seconds. Such phenomenon is safe and normal. After the water temperature reaches 28-35?C, you can continue.
3. The water temperature between 28-35°C is the safe range for treatment.
4. Erect the hydropathical nozzle, the height of water column within 3-8cm is the proper hydraulic pressure.
5. While irrigating water into the large intestine, massage the abdomen softly with the other hand. Experience deep distension before excrete. Sit on closestool for 2-3 minutes after treatment to excrete the remaining water in the abdominal cavity.
6. In case of first application, water injection may be unsmooth. It is very simple as long as you grasp the skill. When putting the nozzle in the entrance of anus, contract anus and stick the abdomen out as if the hind limb movement of stretching. The most important, of course, is to relax. It is easy to grasp soon.
7. In case the temperature of water output exceeds 36°C, the machine will adjust power and reduce temperature automatically. You may need to readjust heating grades. If the temperature exceeds 38°C for 10 seconds, the machine will close down automatically to guarantee safety.



Precautions after use



1. Power and water supply must be cut off after use. The machine and accessories must be dried and kept in cool and dry place;
2. The hydropathical nozzle is for private use. Do not share nozzle or use one spray for long time (over 2 months) to avoid cross infection.



1. We suggest family users take hydrotherapy before bathing every evening. The treatment is helpful to improve sleeping quality;
2. After treatment, you may feel abdominal pain or distension for a while; some one may even have the symptom of light diarrhea. They are normal reaction of hydrotherapy and mostly due to nervous emotion for the first application. Keep relaxed and get used to it for a period of time, such symptoms will disappear;
3. The filter, water inlet pipe and outlet pipe must be replaced once every 6 months;
4. Replenish lactic acid bacteria (e.g. drink yoghourt) appropriately after treatment to promote reproduction and growth of probiotic bacteria in the intestines;
5. Don?t take repeat treatments in one day. We suggest make treatment schedule according to individual situations.

About ozone water
The machine has an ozone generating device inside. The generated ozone can be used to wash body surface or external genitalia with disinfectant function; it can also be used to sterilize nozzle and pipes after treatment or indoor air; Don?t release ozone during treatment, since ozone can do harm to probiotic bacteria in the intestines.
When the buzzer gives continuous alarm to inform treatment conclusion, or pressing START button to adjust timer to zero, press ?Ozone? button, the screen will display rising air bubbles (see S-6), which refers to the output of ozone water.

**Important prompt: When using ozone water, there will be light fishy smell in the air. It is normal phenomenon due to the increase of ozone.

Maintenance

There is no part for user?s adjustment inside the machine. Don?t open the machine to avoid human failure or electric shock.
Since the internal structure is very complicated and compact, maintenance work must be performed by professionals with special equipment, so as to guarantee that the repaired machine can reach standard requirements. Any machine repaired outside of our company (including by the user) will be deprived of free maintenance service. The company will reserve the right to investigation for any result thus caused. Please contact the Customer Service Department in case of any exception. Don?t and it?s unnecessary to disassemble the machine.
Mop up the machine case with dry towel after use; store the nozzle and pipes after dry up; keep in cool and dry place with power plug switch off.

**Special attention: cut off power and pull out plug before cleaning and maintenance.


Troubleshooting Guide
